Job Summary

The Website Merchandising Professional uses website merchandising best practices to efficiently help clients’ websites perform better.  This position utilizes phone and email communication with clients on a defined schedule, basic Web site design/updating skills, and a methodical approach to improve product efficiency.

Essential Job Functions

  • 50%: Act as a point of contact and coordinate the merchandising of clients’ sites
  • 20%: Review site analytics to determine trends and merchandising effectiveness
  • 15%: Perform simple site updates
  • 10%: Organize information for the Fulfillment team
  • 5%: Attend periodic seminars, webinars, and merchandising training sessions

Position Requirements

Phone Skills:

  • Establish immediate rapport with clients
  • Listen to customer needs and respond with professional Web site merchandising advice
  • Provide valuable information during each phone call

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft business applications
  • Working knowledge of Web site analytics packages
  • Be proficient with general Web site trends and best practices

Organizational Skills:

  • Accurately coordinate promotional calendars with Web site offers
  • Multi-task several projects at once and manage time efficiently

People Skills:

  • Work well with clients to describe Web site merchandising and best practices
  • Ability to work in conjunction with other departments to achieve goals
  • Strong customer service skills

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma required, Marketing degree preferred
  • Three years experience with web site phone consultations/support
  • Google AdWords certification a plus

Physical Demands

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Extensive typing
  • Light lifting
  • Some travel may be required

    Quality Control Analyst

    The role of the Quality Assurance Analyst is to monitor, troubleshoot, assess, and assign both IT and application issues. This includes tracking submitted issues, following up with unresolved issues, testing of issue fixes, and communication of the issue fix to the appropriate party. The Quality Assurance Analyst is also responsible for analyzing newly developed applications and testing them for usability and functionality.
