When we were kids, my mother brought my four brothers and me to the library once a week. I read voraciously, anything from classic literature like Treasure Island to books on the Egyptian pyramids. My favorite books were the Choose Your Own Adventures. I can still remember the two shelves filled with the white-backed books.
